The U Village Zombie Walk was very fun. Thank you very much to all the Zombies, "Victims" and photographers who walked, shuffled and screamed all through the U-Village with us. I was a bit alarmed at how many people actually turned out! All went pretty well considering y'all were a mob!

Please share with me here your antidotes and I'm sure everyone is excited to see pictures!

Please share your photos here:

We had a blast! The best part of the evening for us was when we saw one of our fellow zombie's bitchy ex-girlfriend sitting by a Barns and Noble window. She didin't look too pleased as we growled and clawed the window at her.

zombie filmaker at zombie walk

we met right before the zombie walk started. I was the one handing out flyers for the zombie film I'm making. My name is Jon by the way. You said to give you the details and you could post on your page. We are creating a low-budget digital film. It is being produced in three chapters, we are looking for volunteers to fill an crowd shot in the climax of the first chapter. We need anyone who is interested to contact us via e-mail at lastmatchfilms@hotmail.com
We will be shooting November 11th from mid-afternoon in to the night. There will be a party afterwords. People are encouraged to bring their own (ok to be cut and bloodied) clothes. We will be doing make-up and gore on site. Any volunteers can expect a free copy of the finished film and many thanks from us. People can also check out a teaser trailer on google video. search for The Infected Trailer.

Thanks for any help you can provide,
Jon and Mike

I had an excellent time lurching around as a zombie pirate. Thanks for organizing this!

I can't wait to see all of the photos.

One of my favorite little out-takes from the walk was a zombie doctor who paused for a moment in QFC to listen to a pumpkin with his stethescope. It was beautiful.

I was also amused by the couple of random guys that were not associated with the zombie walk that were shoving their girlfriends outside into the zombie crowd and then laughing and taking photos with their camera phones while their significant other shrieked and tried to get back inside. (I saw one at Starbucks, and I heard a report of it happening at a few other stores as well)

Oh yeah, and one thing I think that would be cool to add to one of the next zombie walks would be one or two zombie hunters. Just some random folks with zombie killing tools that alternately get mobbed by zombie groups and scare zombies away from innocent by-standers.

I had a ridiculous amount of fun and am already plotting an improvement in make-up techniques and costumes.

Thanks so much for putting this all together. It is amazing that everything, even with the window breaking, went so smoothly.

oH SO much fun - but it's really hard to walk like a zombie!

What do you say to Zombifying Santarchy? http://markmaynard.com/index.php/2005/12/18/zombie_claus_redux

When is it happening this year?

I went last year....as a sugar sweet "Miss Claus".....

Ivan, (who is one of the main promoters of that event) flames Zombie Walk whenever I post about it...........So I wouldn't mind soiling her dress to mess with the drunken Santas if a few other Zombies want to join up.

I bet they would taste like cherry cordials!

I have a great pic of a entrail spilling Santa at the Fremont Zombie Walk last year.........
