Walk with your un-dead brethren through the streets of Seattle in the light of day. With all your gore and glory, let’s mob the city! Be one of us because you are a Horror movie fan, because you love costume or to make a statement on how apathetic our nation has become to the horror in the world at large. How often do you get to participate in something this weird and free? All that is required is that you show up in costume, respect traffic laws and practice common sense. Bring your friends…….Nothing says you love someone quite like caking yourself in make-up, limping down the street together and eating them in the park!
OCT 29th- Fremont
Start: 2:45pm sharp
Meet: @ THE TROLL under the Aurora Bridge.
Milling in Fremont from 3:00pm-5:00PM
Finish: around 6:00pm @ George & the Dragon Pub- 206 No.36th St.
After Party at Nectar- 412 N. 36th St.
(There is a RIP section reserved on the mezzanine for us!)
HALLOWEEN!!!
OCT 31st- CAPITOL HILL
Meet: 3:45pm sharp @ Cal Anderson Park (by the cone shaped sculpture)
4:00pm walking downtown on Pike St.
Finish: 7:00PM @ Pike Place Market
*As mentioned previously - zombies are only really effective when traveling together in large groups. Bring your friends, foes, family and other loved ones.
*TRY TAKING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE EVENT!
Potentially useful things to keep in mind:
1. Participate at your own risk.
2. Do not pretend to “attack” people not part of Zombie Walk who do not obviously want to be involved.
3. Only swarm parked cars because, if we cause traffic problems, the Police will interfere.
4. There are no permits for this event. Be safe and look out for the safety of others!

Yes, I am organizing this Seattle Zombie Walk. I guarantee you there will be lots of people there.....I'm guessing about 150.....so even if you do come alone, you will stay anonymous. For the Ballard one, NONE of my friends, except for my boyfriend showed up. At first I was sad, then I looked around and found out that a good 40 out of 75 Zombies were there stag. I have made some new friends out of this......the event brings out the brave and free-thinking. I hope this gives you courage. :)

1. Seeing Zombies during ordinary working hours is much more shocking and unusual for the people who see us.
2. This Saturday is a big party night. It is much easier to manage a mob of sober people as opposed to drunken ones.
3. Legally, I'm to blame if any Zombie's get out of hand. The fact that Americans are sue happy is the main reason there aren't many edgy free public events. Single day event insurance would run me about $650.00 and I could not get a permit because "Bureau" needs to know 3 months ahead of time. The permit is very expensive as well. The powers that be make it very hard to assemble large groups of people, especially underage folks because if anything goes wrong.......the "system" allows people to sick lawyers on ringleaders instead of each participant taking responsibility for their own action. I.E. What ever happened to "you break it, you buy it"?
Not so fun answer....huh?
